Review
Bubble Odyssey is a puzzle game developed by Terminal Studio. The game features the very simple and known formula of sphere matching. You shoot spheres of different colors into the wall of spheres coming at you. If your hit matches three or more spheres (or bubbles) of the same color, then they all fall down, bringing down any other bubbles that it had attached to the group. There is a background story about two dragons and their journey. However, it does not change the fact that you are just shooting bubbles into other bubbles. The game is not very challenging because you can precisely aim where your bubble wants to go. The time constraints are really not that tight and you have plenty of time to do your job. Basically it is not a bad game; it has a good amount of power-ups that blow up groups of bubbles or help you from stopping the wall. But in the end, the formula is old and very used, it does not bring anything radical. Even the power-ups can be seen in many different games. But if you are looking for a game with this puzzle formula, Bubble Odyssey can be the one you are looking for. |
